Fleur De Lisa Cakes

Lisa Kincaid of Fleur De Lisa Cakes is a renowned baker and she has a way of infusing creativity and beauty into every cake.  She is a Style Me Pretty “Little Black Book” vendor and has had her work featured in magazines like Bride and Bloom, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style and Modern Bride.

When we walked into her charming studio and met with her, we knew that she was going to make something amazing.  She was inspired by the usnea moss that we brought in, the antique silver tray, and the cream colored vintage ribbon, as well as the invitations that Heather and Aly at notion : creative were working on.

The cake that she made was astounding.  She replicated the vintage ribbon in sugar, as well as the calligraphic flourishes from the invitation, and she crafted  romantic blooms for the top, all from sugar!  The entire cake was covered in a gorgeous and subtle pale blue fondant.  It really was perfection.
